Tipsy Turvy

Well so I did go back to the start and redo my whole project, while I kept my main original in mind I changed the way it was shot and presented, I cropped shots and lightened some scenes so as too be not as dark as I would normally be. The result have been some stunning shots, even the models were happy with them, now if I can just get them past my tutors then I can proceed too the next part and figure out what and how too display them in the gallery, oh a professional private gallery too, one where our work will be open to the public, argghh, thankfully only for the weekend hehehe but still daunting enough as I really have too up my game somewhat. Oh well what is is and cannot be undone, besides I wouldn’t really want too change it would I? Some of the images I have worked on post production, something I would normally not do unless it was darkroom stuff, and well I could do it all in print in the darkroom but time constraints and learning newer techniques is very time consuming and time is never on my side, so in post production work I have layered a black and white image over my colour one and then erased the area I wanted too bring out the colour in, seems too be acceptable with the others, still seems a little cheating to me but if its what I have too do to get the image perfect then its what is. Besides I have not changed the actual image as such, there is no removing or cloning of items there is no work done on the model, the only things have been the layering to give me the black and white with the colour in certain places and like I said possible too do in the darkroom allowing for the extra time it would take to perfect it. Now that I have done that and the cropping the images are speaking volumes, all what I wanted without having too load them up full of content and context, they have done it themselves, thanks to the God of Chaos for watching over me, while the other consummate professional works with talent and skill I also add chaos too the mix, I find doing this adds another element too the mix and sometimes this element stands out much more and works a lot better, like nike, just do it, sometimes it will work other times not this is chaos. When you begin too understand how it works then you have a much better chance of capturing it in camera and it will show in your work. So back too the grindstone, re-look at my work and pick the best images too work with and create some magic hopefully.
