Time is running short on the brief, working hard too get the images how I see them in my head too translate into the camera. It’s usually just a little thing that I see that’s not right but I don’t want too use photoshop too cut it out or replace it etc, if there’s a flaw then it gets left in too bad so sad well not really lol photos of people are extremely hard too get spot on unless you have had many years experience and plenty of talent too boot, so when I see a flaw in a photograph that’s naturally there that adds too the content and adds more character too the subject being photographed. People are naturally flawed so why do we need to feel that we have to butcher the photograph too change this, too many fashion magazines have given the vast majority of women a false view of how they are supposed too look, act and even feel, they are told how too dress and how not too. It is no wonder that there are so many messed up people out there. Mens magazines are not much better either for that matter. So with this in hand I prefer too leave the flaws there, if I wanted a fashion model shoot then I would use the right model, the right make-up and the correct location and lighting required too achieve the shot, but for most of my images I try too connect the viewer too a real person, someone that they feel that they can relate too whether it’s themselves or somebody they know personally. If I can succeed in this then I have captured my subject perfectly and the image is correct. So with time running short I am adding more to the mix by photographing a skeleton dressed in a corset, I may place them in a wardrobe like setting or even just posing naturally and I may also have them partnered up with another model adding further context too the image.
While I have been working on this brief I still have continued experimenting with photographic styles and my own twist on arty images. I have made some good images that are very abstractive and surreal, there has been plenty of positive feedback on the images while one off the images tends too make a few female viewers repulse a little to a lot. Effective I would say, whether the experience someone receives from viewing art is good or bad for them, the fact that they have had an experience is what the art is about, something too assault your senses and engage your intellect, broaden your horizons and free your mind. Great artists the likes of Salvador Dali did this with paints while artists like Jerry Ulesmann use photography, each have their own techniques but each can capture the viewer and engage them in dialogue.
