The Continued Saga

So I have been working along on my photos for this brief, which I still have too write up the negotiated learning agreement for, oops. But I have made a great start and have worked on a few images too make them more suitable for the final printing, sizes and frames yet too be decided upon. I have cropped and played with saturations levels exposures and such too pull out the best that I can in the images I have done so far. I still have too get back into the studio and do a few more images this week, and this time I will also be using a skeleton as my model, it will be in the corset still of course, this should add plenty of content and context to the image and the viewers will be able too create their own story from them. I have also of course been thinking of future projects and how I would go about them, which is a pain as it distracts me form the work I am currently applying myself too. But as usual in the last moments I will push through my work and get it all written up and put into my books, I will book into the studio and do the extra images this week as time is quickly counting down, I still have to receive my questions and answers back from my interviewee and hoping they are here this week so that I can jump into doing the due essay, arrgghh it all comes at once  :). The images I have played with a little, stuff I can do in the darkroom if I needed too so I am just using mostly Lightroom too do this not in photoshop, though it is limited in what it can do I find this sometimes better as it stops me from going overboard on the images. Again it’s mostly just cropping and playing with the filters to amp up the images too a point that I am happier with them. It’s funny with my surreal abstract art I find there is never really anything I can do too amp up the images, they always work out like I want, these images of course are different, firstly they have the human element, and working with live models is not as easy as working with still life objects, also two different people make for different lighting as well, what works on one does not always work on the other due too body shape etc. So this is something I have too be on top of my game for next time I work with people, it was a good experience though and gave me valuable tools too put into my arsenal. It makes you appreciate the images photographers like McCurry and Mapplethorpe can create when working with their models. I think when I add the skeleton images to the mix then I will be able too complete a series of images that will ultimately tell their own stories yet have some connection, well at least this is what I am aiming for.
